Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to GemBox AG.

By accessing this website or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Products & Availability

All gemstones offered by GemBox are natural unless otherwise stated and are described to the best of our knowledge and professional expertise.

Due to the unique nature of gemstones:

  • each item is inherently one-of-a-kind
  • availability is subject to prior sale

We reserve the right to modify, withdraw, or refuse the sale of any product at our discretion.

Pricing

All prices are displayed in CHF or the selected currency and may be subject to change without prior notice.

Certain high-value items may be listed as:

  • “Price upon request”
  • “Available via private consultation”

Final pricing is confirmed upon direct communication with the client.

Orders & Purchasing Methods

We offer the following purchasing options:

  1. a) Secure Checkout

Online payments are processed via trusted third-party providers (e.g. Stripe) and may include:

  • credit and debit cards
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay
  1. b) Private Purchase / Invoice

Clients may request a personalized invoice payable via:

  • bank transfer
  • other agreed methods

Order Confirmation

All purchases are subject to:

  • final confirmation
  • availability
  • internal review and compliance checks

Following any order, a member of our team will contact the client to confirm details and coordinate next steps.

GemBox reserves the right to decline or cancel any order at its discretion.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is arranged individually for each order.

We work with secure and reputable logistics providers, including:

  • Brinks
  • Malca-Amit
  • Ferrari Group
  • premium courier services where appropriate

All shipments:

  • are fully insured
  • require a signature upon delivery

Shipping costs and delivery timelines are confirmed separately after purchase.

Risk & Ownership

Ownership of the gemstone transfers to the client only after:

  • full payment has been received
  • the item has been dispatched

Risk transfers to the client upon delivery.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of high-value and one-of-a-kind gemstones, all sales are generally considered final.

Returns may be accepted only:

  • upon prior agreement
  • in accordance with specific conditions

Each case is reviewed individually.

Customized Orders

Customized and bespoke orders are subject to individual agreements.

In certain cases, a deposit may be required to initiate the sourcing or production process.

Such deposits are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

Timelines for custom orders are indicative and may vary depending on the nature of the request.

Authenticity & Certification

GemBox works with internationally recognized gemological laboratories, including:

GIA, SSEF, Gübelin, GRS, GFCO GemLab, Lotus Gemology, Bellerophon, and others.

Where available, gemstones are accompanied by laboratory reports confirming their characteristics.

Certification can be arranged upon request if not already provided.

Compliance, AML & Verification

GemBox AG is fully committed to operating in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory standards, including anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance requirements.

We maintain a comprehensive internal Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy, reflecting our commitment to transparency, integrity, and responsible business practices within the international gemstone trade.

In accordance with these standards, we may require additional verification for certain transactions, including:

  • identity verification (KYC)
  • supporting documentation
  • source of funds information where applicable

This process is designed to ensure the security of all transactions and to protect both our clients and our business.

Our AML Policy and compliance framework are considered an integral part of our operations and may be made available upon request.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any transaction that does not meet our compliance requirements.

Compliance and discretion remain central to every transaction conducted by GemBox.

Limitation of Liability

GemBox shall not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages
  • delays caused by third-party service providers

Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased product.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and branding, is the property of GemBox AG and may not be used without prior written consent.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.

Jurisdiction is the registered seat of GemBox AG, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
