A piece made for you
A bespoke commission begins with a conversation and ends with a piece that exists only once. Each stone is selected individually, and the design is developed with you – shaped around your vision, proportions and the way the piece is intended to be worn.
Our commissions are created through carefully selected ateliers in Switzerland, Europe and Asia, chosen according to the character and requirements of each piece. Every gemstone is independently certified, and the finished creation is accompanied by the relevant laboratory documentation.
You may begin with a precise design, a stone from our collection, an inherited piece to be reimagined, or simply an occasion and an idea. Whatever the starting point, the process remains personal, considered and entirely yours.

Five ways to begin your bespoke piece
There is no single way to start. Some commissions begin with a finished design, others with nothing more than an occasion and a feeling.
A piece imagined from the beginning, inspired by a stone, an occasion, or simply an idea. From a ring or pair of earrings to a pendant, bracelet or brooch, every detail is considered for you.
Perhaps you have already found the stone. We can begin there – allowing its colour, character and proportions to guide a piece created especially around it.
An inherited or unworn piece can become something entirely new. Its stones are carefully considered and given a new setting, preserving what makes them meaningful while creating something made for you.
Sometimes the design comes first, and the stone follows. We can search for the right gemstone – selected for its beauty, character and the qualities you have in mind – and bring it to life within your vision.
A detail, a silhouette, a piece you have admired. It can be the beginning of something distinctly your own, reinterpreted through different proportions, stones or metal to suit you. Always an interpretation, never a copy.
From first idea to finished piece
Five stages, each at your pace. Nothing moves forward until the previous step feels settled.
Every piece begins with a conversation about what you have in mind – the occasion, the stones, the design, and the feeling you want the piece to have. Meetings can be arranged in Switzerland or internationally, subject to availability, or we can speak by phone if preferred.
If a stone is yet to be found, you may begin with one from our collection or tell us what you are looking for. We can source a gemstone specifically for your piece, considering its colour, character, proportions and rarity. If you already have a stone, we begin with it.
With the stone chosen, the idea begins to take shape. Sketches and detailed drawings allow us to explore the proportions, setting and overall character of the piece together. Nothing moves forward until it feels right.
Once the design is settled, it is brought to life by the atelier best suited to the piece. Every detail is carefully considered throughout the making, from the proportions to the setting and final finish.
Before it leaves the atelier, each finished piece is carefully examined and photographed. It is presented with the relevant documentation for its stones and, where requested, an insurance valuation. Your design is also kept on record for the future.
What to expect
A bespoke piece usually takes four to eight weeks from the first conversation to delivery. If a particularly rare or unusual stone is required, the search may take longer. Should the piece be needed for a specific occasion – a proposal, anniversary or birthday – we recommend mentioning the date at the outset so that we can plan accordingly.
Each commission is individually quoted according to the piece, the gemstones selected and the work involved. An initial estimate can be provided after our first conversation, with the final price confirmed once the details have been agreed.
A deposit is required before work begins, and production commences once the commission and payment have been confirmed.
If the piece is intended as a surprise, we are happy to correspond discreetly and arrange delivery for a date and address of your choosing.
Begin your piece
Tell us what you have in mind. Whether you have a clear vision or simply the beginning of an idea, we will take it from there. Nothing needs to be decided at this stage, and every detail can be discussed in conversation.
